Homework

For students

If you are a student in the course, the option FILES > Homework will allow you to upload your works to these two areas:

  • Assignments area. This first zone of files called Assignments will allow you to upload files in the automatically created folders for each of the assignments that teachers have created in ASSESSMENT > Assignments with the upload option enabled, as long as the current date is within the range specified by the teacher for the assignment (the range of dates will be displayed in green).
  • Homework area. This second zone of files called Homework will allow you to upload files at any time, regardless of deadlines.

For teachers

If you are a teacher in the course, the option FILES > Homework will allow you to view and download the works uploaded by the students in the current course, as well as upload files for those areas of a particular student.

Select groups

If groups have been created in the current course, a box is displayed to select the groups of students whose homework you want to see. By default the groups to which you belong are selected. If you change this selection, you have to click on the link Update students to update the list of students to be shown below.

List of students

Below is the list of students of the selected groups (or the entire course, if there are no groups). You can choose the presentation format of the students between:

  • class photo, with students distributed in a two-dimensional matrix (default)
    • you can select the number of columns between 1 and 50, with 10 being the default
  • list, with one student in each row
    • with photos (default) or without photos

Select students

Next to each student there is a checkbox that you can click to select that student. If you want to select all students, click on the Students: checkbox at the top of the list. If you want to deselect all students, click on the Students: checkbox again.

If you click on the button View homework, the homework of all the selected students will be displayed.

Assignments and homework areas

After clicking on View homework, a list with the selected students will be displayed. For each student it is shown:

  • Personal data. Student's photo, ID, name and email.
  • Assignments area. Works uploaded by the student to the folders associated with the assignments created by teachers in ASSESSMENT > Assignments taking into account deadlines.
  • Homework area. Works uploaded by the student without regard to deadlines.

ZIP file

You can click on the Create ZIP file link to download all works in a single ZIP file. Within the ZIP file you will find a folder for each selected user, and within that folder, another two folders, one for the assignments zone and one for the homework zone.
