- after a index selection is made, the index is splitted into its vertical components
- from differrent index selctions the splitted components can be accumulated before they are placed into the transmission queue
- each splitted chunk gets its own transmission thread
- multiple transmission threads are started concurrently
- the process can be monitored with the blocking queue servlet
To implement that, a new package de.anomic.yacy.dht was created. Some old files have been removed.
The new index distribution model using a vertical DHT was implemented. An abstraction of this model
is implemented in the new dht package as interface. The freeworld network has now a configuration
of two vertial partitions; sixteen partitions are planned and will be configured if the process is bug-free.
This modification has three main targets:
- enhance the DHT transmission speed
- with a vertical DHT, a search will speed up. With two partitions, two times. With sixteen, sixteen times.
- the vertical DHT will apply a semi-dht for URLs, and peers will receive a fraction of the overall URLs they received before.
with two partitions, the fractions will be halve. With sixteen partitions, a 1/16 of the previous number of URLs.
BE CAREFULL, THIS IS A MAJOR CODE CHANGE, POSSIBLY FULL OF BUGS AND HARMFUL THINGS.

The cache is now flushed only for one second every ten seconds. During a crawl the cache
fills up completely, and is only flushed if space is needed for more documents.

- snippets are not fetched by browser using ajax, they are now fetched internally
- YaCy-internat threads control existence of snippets and sort out bad results
- search results are prepared using SSI includes
- the search result page is visible right after the search request, the results drop in when they are detected
- no more time-out strategy during search processes, results are shifted within queues when they arrive from remote peers
- added result page switching! after the first 10 results, the next page can be retrieved
- number of remote results is updated online on the result page as they drop in
- removed old snippet servelet (which had been also a security leak btw)
- media search is broken now, will be redesigned and fixed in another step

- set new memory calculation functions for indexing process
- adjusted guessed memory amount

such an entry cannot be instantiated without allocation of new byte[]; instead
it can re-use memory from other kelondroRow.Entry objects.
during bugfixing also other bugs may have been solved, maybe the INCONSISTENCY problem
could have been solved. One cause can be missing synchronization during bulk storage
when a R/W-path optimization is done. To test this case, the optimization is currently
switched off.
More memory enhancements can be done after this initial change to the allocation scheme.

too large collection arrays are now avoided. By default, the biggest
collection index is 7. larger collections are dumped into a commons
directory, but cannot yet be used. Bevore doing a dump, the collection
is splittet into a part which has only root-references, and stored back
to the collection; the remaining part goes to commons

The new data structure is ready-to-use, but currently disabled.
It can be activated by setting the static
plasmaWordIndex.useCollectionIndex
to true. This shall be done for testing purpose.
The new index is stored to
DATA/INDEX/PUBLIC/TEXT
The directory PLASMA shall be used only for crawler in the future.
Attention: during testing the data structure in INDEX may change,
and created indexes with the new data structure may get useless.
