# Email to students
The option **COMMUNICATION > Email** displays a list of the email addresses of the students of the course (or the students of [the selected groups](USERS.Groups.en)) separated by commas, in order to compose an email message using an [external email client](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_client).
To compose the email message you have two options:
* Copy-paste the list of email addresses into the list of recipients of your email client
* Click on the link **Create email message**
